Foundations are interesting backers for unusual research projects, as they often fund research and subject areas outside the mainstream. In order to find the right foundation for your field of research, you can conduct a targeted search via the Donors&#8217; Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany (Stifterverband f\u00fcr die Deutsche Wissenschaft) or via the Association of German Foundations (Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would be happy to help you identify possible sponsors for your project and to support you in the application process.
